| Macaroons |
We ran across a closed Maison Larnicol in the Mardais a few nights before and were eager to give it a try, and got our chance to do so off St. Germaine. The chocolate sculptures were pretty cool and there are a wide variety of goods, but in our visit, we tried the macaroons.
They were significantly cheaper that those at Laduree, and we got 8 for 5 Euros. Unfortunately, I was less impressed by George Larnicol's in terms of freshness, texture, and flavor.
