L'as Du Fallafal

Paris, FR
Anytime we have a spurge meal, our follow-up meal is generally a cheap one. But our dinner wasn't just any cheap eat, it was the number one place recommended to us by Midas and Goldie from their trip to Paris. As part of its slogan, its also recommended by Lenny Kravitz. Not sure why he's the namesake used as a reference, but he's not the only one. There are dozens of articles from celebrities (like Celine Dion) and food reviewers (like NY times) about how these fallafals will make you want to be a vegetarian.
Fallafal
They have a very efficient system going on outside there, with two guys taking your money and orders and in turn, handing you a paper recipe which you give to the guy in the window so he can fulfill your order. Seems totally simple, but the sure efficiency of how many falafels are pushed out the window at a rapid pace is impressive. We felt bad for the neighboring falafel place that was empty and had to witness the mass success of their counterpart. We ordered ours with everything; slaw, cucumbers, yogurt and hot sauce in a fresh, soft, pita bread. The first thing you notice is that the thing is massively spewing out of the fresh soft pita. The second thing you appreciate is the superb laying that is done. There are two layers of veggies and falafels, so it's not like you eat all your falafels off the top and are stuck with just veggies at the bottom. They are generous with their portions and at the last bite, there was still a light, crispy, flavor full falafel waiting for me. Since I don't have a huge amount of falafel experience, me saying it was the best I've ever had might not mean much, but it was hands down the best falafel I've ever had. Crispy, well spiced and tasty; it did make me excited to eat the vegetarian dish.
Lamb Swarma
The lamb swarma was good also, but I think I've had better flavored lamb swarmas in the states. This place is about the fallafals, so get your own when you get there. It's worth the wait and the price is a steal for a great, mammoth meal.

Overall 8/10
