Fremont Diner

Sonoma, CA
I've driven by the Fremont Diner every morning on the way to work for nearly five years but never realized that its a local hot spot. So over the long Presidents weekend, we stopped by for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning and luckily grabbed the last two seats the bar. I order the kitchen sink, a biscuit topped with a piece of fried chicken, homemade sausage gravy and a fried egg while Chu-Toro went with the Brisket Hash. Upon arrival, I thought the portions were on the smaller size, but after digging into the freshly made, extremely dense, home style dishes, the food settled in our bellies and both were very filling.

Kitchen Sink
The best part of the kitchen sink was the biscuit. Light, airy, tasty and delicious. The chicken was good, but not the spectacular best fried chicken ever some have said on Yelp. Overall a filling dish and great because you get a little bit of everything.
Brisket Hash
Chu-Toro really liked her Brisket Hash which was predominantly large tender chunks of peppery, flavorful brisket.  Filling and Delicious.
