Regarded as the best gelato place in Bologna, Sorbetteria di Castiglione has a very modern, contemporary layout. We ordered two smalls 2.20 euros each, hazelnut with whole fresh nuts, and coffee, a rich deep flavored espresso. It was very crowded by locals after we got ours, but I don't think we saw another tourist there. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but a nice walk away from city center. Not as good as my favorite gelato place in Florence, but the texture was rich and smooth.
